Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary is located near to Kerala-Karnataka Border. It is connected with Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary in Tamil Nadu and Bandipur Wild life Sanctuary in Karnataka. An enormous variety of wild animals including Elephants, Bison, Tigers and various species of Deer and Monkeys, are seen here. The Forest Department organizes Jungle Safari in two sessions, in Morning and Evening. The drive through these lush green forests on National Highway itself is rejuvenating and may give opportunity to see some wild life.
