Being one of the best waterfalls of Kerala, Meenmutty waterfalls is a ‘not to miss’ spot in Wayanad. A three tired splendor cascading down from an amazing height of 300 meter is worthy even after long trekking of 2 km to reach there. The rocky trek with help of ropes is a scintillating experience for youth. Not advisable for old and kids below 5. Generally closed during Monsoon season due to the heavy inflow of water as well as slippery surfaces, which could be dangerous.

Note: It would be interesting to note that the Meenmutty Falls near Meppadi is not open to visitors for many years. There is a waterfall near Banasura Sagar Dam with the same name.
